Hello
I have DAVE 4 installed and trying to load some example projects for XMC-2Go board.
I have downloaded Update_Site_PACK_2016-05-17 and followed instructions in supplied ReadMe_LibraryUpdateSite to include it in the Local Library Store folder. Everything went smoothly, but when I try to import, I cannot see anything in the project list.
The Local Library Store folder is set to "C:\Users\[user]\Infineon\D_LibraryStore_4.1\resources\DAVE\Lib\DaveExampleProject".
I have checked the folder "C:\Users\[user]\Infineon\D_LibraryStore_4.1\resources\" and it does not contain a DAVE directory but contains nearly 200 bizarrely named folders.
I have tried importing directly from my downloaded "Update_Site_PACK_2016-05-17\UpdateSite" folder but nothing is recognized.
What is going on? Which folder do I select? Show Less

After Dave crashed and lead to a blue screen, I cannot use one of my projects anymore.
The dependency window does not show anything anymore and it's not possible to generate code.
In the error log for each app the message "Groovy object for ... not found".
Maybe one of the Dave configuration files is corrupted.
Can anyone give me a hint where to start the search?
Thanks

Hi there,
i wanted to use a PWM timer to implement an interleaved PWM pattern; so there should be four PWM outputs with an adjustable interleaving time.
I could not see any other way than to try to use one (or maybe two) superimposed PWM timer whose "compare-match" event will trigger one of these four channels.
Unfortunately, there are no (or rather just one) hardware connection possibilities for the superimposed PWM timer and so I cannot trigger the channels.
Is there any work-around? Or has anybody a different approach to obtain an interleaved PWM pattern?
cheers Show Less

Hello,
I am using Dave4 with an XMC4400 Hexagon eval board.
I made a project that was just running fine in this environment.
I put this project on a side in order to work on another project using this time an XMC4500
I am unable to come back to the initial project on XMC4400
I get know an error in validating CLOCK_XMC4 app (V4.0.18)
It complains about some ecatclkfreq out of range, but I do not use Ethercat !
XMC4400 does not even have it.
Unisntalling reinstalling Dave eclipse, APPs and Libraries does not fix the problem
I really dont know where to look for. Any idea is welcome
Thank you

I buy new KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 but it is not working properly. I downloaded software JLink_V600E (the latest version I found) and installed it. If I use KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 on Relax kit XMC4500 is working well,
but with any other board with the same cpu XMC4500-F100K1024 it is not working. Instead all connections are ok I can't connect to my cpu.
To discover little more what is going on I used JFlash.exe (program on SEGGER directory). I saw that connection from computer to KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 is ok (program see J-Link Lite-XMC4200 Rev.1. Compiled jan/14 2016).
If I connect Relax kit to the KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 connection is made, but with my cpu there is no connection. If I run JlinkLicenseManager.exe no license is found.
Can somebody help me if there is a license problem or only KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 is not working properly? Should I receive also a license with XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1?
Thank you

Hello,
I don't need in my application the RTC and hibernate-domain. The RTC_XTAL and th HIB-pins on my XMC4500-F144 are open. I'm not sure if this correct. How can I disable both?
I use the DAVE4-App CLOCK_XMC4 and have set fRTC and fSTDBY to internal slow oscillator. If I start the controller, he keep hanging in a while-loop of the startup routine (xmc4_scu.c):
/* API to select fRTC */
void XMC_SCU_HIB_SetRtcClockSource(const XMC_SCU_HIB_RTCCLKSRC_t source)
{
/* Wait until the update of HDCR register in hibernate domain is completed */
while((SCU_GENERAL->MIRRSTS) & SCU_GENERAL_MIRRSTS_HDCR_Msk)
{
}
SCU_HIBERNATE->HDCR = (SCU_HIBERNATE->HDCR & ((uint32_t)~SCU_HIBERNATE_HDCR_RCS_Msk)) |
((uint32_t)source);
}
