Hi~
Currently I am using XMC1302-Q024F0032 AB(32KB Flash, 16KB RAM)
The compilation result is shown in the image below.
What value should I use to know the size using the flash area in the image above?
I am wondering how much flash I use in the above image. Show Less

When I was using DAVE-3.1.10, I reported in these forums that the installation was trying to put Gigs of files on the C drive even through I had selected another drive for installation. I recently tried to upgrade and encountered the same problem. Your team REALLY needs to listen to user input instead of ignoring it. As it is, I cannot install without re-partitioning my hard drive so I will
continue to use buggy version that I have.
Can you please fix the IDE to install 90+% of the files in the location where the user instructs the installation to be placed. It would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm going to make my own webserver like the APP "HOT_XMC_HTTP_WEBSERVER".
This example works well now.
My question is: The user schould be able to change the MAC & IP address and restore it
in the FLASH Area via Internet Explorer.
How to realise it?
Thank you for help!

Hello Dave Community,
I created a simple app to drive 3 LEDs with 3 PDMs using 3 channels on the Dimming Engine 0.
these are the snapshots of what I get when I debug the code to upload it to the microcontroller XMC1302
Is there any configuration for the JTAG before uploading the code?
Waiting to hear from you.

Hello,
I am working with Dave v4.3.2 on an XMC4000 type of processor.
I would like to fill the RAM with a repeated pattern and then dump it after my program has run for a while.
How can I do it? The closest I have seen so far is to open a memory window where you can spy and edit a few addresses manually.
But that does not work for large amounts of memory.
Any idea?
Thanks and regards

I'm working with XMC1100-T016X0016. Due to limited amount of pins, I'm having to use P0.15 as both SWDCLK_0 and UART_TXD. After flashing the code, I would want that pin to start working as a TXD pin for UART. Is there an Application Note somewhere that describes how to accomplish this?

I have noticed that the debugger will allow you to load a firmware build that has been configured, and compiled, for release, instead of debug. This results in a condition where the debugger may be running, but the variables can't be evaluated, and breakpoints are inoperable. The debugger behavior is not what's expected, and there is no clear indication of why. The first thing I noticed, was that when creating breakpoints, they are unresolved. I'd like to recommend that the software team add a warning message to let the user know if they are attempting to load the debugger with a build configured for release, and what the consequences are. This is one of my first experiences with the tool and I spent some time trying to understand why my breakpoints were unresolved, and unusable. Adding a warning, would make the tool more user friendly to those of us getting our feet wet with DAVE, especially when we are starting with example projects that we know should work. I really like the parts, and what you are doing with DAVE. Keep up the good work!

We are building our SW, including some DAVE generated code, on Linux. This works fine, except for some modules. The PWM_SVM is one. A section in pvm_svm.h looks like this:
To compile on Linux, this should be:

Hello,
I'm able to compile code with Ethernet functionality using Dave 3 apps. It works on both, the XMC4500 Relax Kit and the target environment.
Dave 4 generated code works on Relax Kit only. Phy used in target environment is TI TLK106 with RMII interface. Settings in ETH LWIP in both cases is DP83848.
Is there a difference between Dave 3 and 4 in PHY compatibility ? Show Less
