I am using a the Relax XMC4800 Relax Ethercat kit. I have an example project with Ethercat and some stuff added. Tried to remove as much as possible. Had a PWM App to a LED that I removed since I want PWM to the PWM_BC and thought that might be the problem but did not help.
I try to add PWM_BC but all I get is "DAVE is not able to grant your last hardware resources request".
This is my first experience with XMC and Dave.
Can I get more information somehow? As to why it can´t.Or is there some kind of cleanup I need to do?
I tried doing a fresh project. Same kit. Just added PWM_BC and the newly released HALL_POSIF App. Then it works fine so there most be something blocking it in my other project but I don´t know what.
Picture overview of the project where I can't add the App
Picture of the fresh project where I managed to add it.
Any ideas why I can't add it? Show Less

Hello,
could you help me, I'm trying to write a program that's sending data with UART. With basic function Transmit (XMC4800 DAVE 4), everything works but I need to use function "printf". How can I set it up? I need a function or library.
P.S. I've looked at the rest of the topics, they don't have any working solution. Show Less

Hi,
in my XMC4700 application i want to use hibernate pins as digital input and output.
Use "Hib_IO_0" as output works:
- XMC_SCU_HIB_SetPinMode(XMC_SCU_HIB_IO_0, XMC_SCU_HIB_PIN_MODE_OUTPUT_PUSH_PULL_HIBCTRL);
- XMC_SCU_HIB_SetPinOutputLevel(XMC_SCU_HIB_IO_0, XMC_SCU_HIB_IO_OUTPUT_LEVEL_HIGH);
but how can i use "Hib_IO_1" as input ?

My project is using an XMC4200,
When I try to increase the number of channels inn the ADC_MEASUREMENT_ADV to 7, DAVE indicates that it cannot grant request (and often crashes after)
The max number of channels seems to be 8.
This issue does not exist on a project using an XMC4700 . Show Less

I'm trying to use FATFS with the HTTP_SERVER_RTOS_XMC47 DAVE 4.4.2 example project but when add FATFS it wont link because http_server_buff is declared in both httpd.c (line 412) and fs.c (line 60). Any clues as to how I'm supposed to resolve this problem?

The ETH_LWIP APP provides the possibility to enable debug messages. It does so using the SEGGER_RTT APP.
As an alternative, instead debug semihosting can be used following the next steps:
1. In project setting, add XMC_DEBUG_ENABLE to preprocessor symbols
2. Also in the project settings, under linker settings add –specs=rdimon.specs
3. In main.c add an extern function declaration to initialise_monitor_handles() and call it in main() function.
4. In file lwipopts.h add the following macro definition to enable debug messages
#define LWIP_DEBUG 1
Now you need to turn on the generation of debug messages from the module you are interested in, i.e. the DHCP module
#define DHCP_DEBUG LWIP_DBG_ON
More details can be found at http://www.nongnu.org/lwip/2_1_x/group__lwip__opts__debug.html
