Hi together,
I follow the guideline which is included in the project and on page 29 there is a picture when I open the Manual Pin Allocator for the ECAT_SSC_0 which show me the pin number port (i.e. for led_err #73 (P1.10)).
But I see "Not Selected" for all pins?
If I go to the Pin Mapping view I see "Solver Assigned Pin: 73" when I move my mouse over the led_err port.
I have Dave 4.4.2 64Bit installed and the example project is from the packaged Dave examples from the installation package.
The example is ETHCAT_SSC_XMC43 version 3.3.0.
Thanks for any help/explanation,
Steffen Show Less

Hi,
I have startet a Project on the XMC2Go Baord that for now uses the DAVE-Apps PWM and ADC. The files are in the Attachement.
The observation is now that
- PWM starts normally (seen on Output Pin P0.7) if I comment out line 45 in main.c.
- Program does NOT finish the step "status=DAVE_Init();" if this line is not commentet out. No PWM-Signal on Pin 0.7.
But line 45 reads only " DIGITAL_IO_SetOutputLow(&DIGITAL_IO_0);". It has no connection to the PWM.
Why is that? Show Less

I would like to automate the Code Generation and Build of a DAVE project, for example from a command prompt, batch file or script file such as Python.
The process must set the Build Configuration to 'Release' and display the result of the process. e.g. Successful, warnings and errors.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards

I was wondering about how fast a pin is toggled using the XMC2Go Kit and the Digital-IO App Methods.
The Clock configuration is 32MHz MCLK.
The code is simply:
while(1U){
DIGITAL_IO_SetOutputHigh(&DIGITAL_IO_1);
DIGITAL_IO_SetOutputLow(&DIGITAL_IO_1);
}
It takes up to 7.5us to execute one loop!
And the jitter is in the range of 1us (see Picture: https://drive.google.com/open?id=11lC_dxhH07zhpNbUA6kphS3aPlF9UOCF).
I find this behaviour strange: The loop executes extremely slow in my opinion (given the Clock speed), and I can't really explain
where this jitter comes from.
Could anyone advise me?
Many Thanks in Advance! Show Less

I am using command line execution to build a project. Want to know where can I save the build log.
Here is the command I am using :
DAVE.exe --launcher.suppressErrors -nosplash -no-indexer -consoleLog -debug -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild -data D:\eclipsews -import D:\projectdir -cleanBuild target_image
There is a -consoleLog option there, but I could not find where the log is saved. The command does have console output with the build details. But it clears out as soon as the command finished the execution.
Please let me know how to save those logs.

Hi
I have installed dave 4 into two different pc running windows 7. In one it works. Into the other the compilation process fail with the following error message:
process_begin: CreateProcess(NULL, echo., ...) failed.
It seems to me that the problem is in the command @echo. that is automatically inserted into the various makefile.
On dave 3 in the same makefiles was inserted @echo ' '
Why on one windows 7 pc it works and not in the other? which settings have I to check?
Is it possible to modify a template so that the automatically generated makefile includes @echo ' ' instead of @echo. ?
Thanks
