Hi all,
I am planning to use the E_EEPROM_XMC4 App to store a non volatile variable in FLASH memory. The variable will be written once in the product lifetime (it is a license key)
Is it possible to protect the variable from being over-written while updating the firmware via flash programming when using a a programming tool like XMC-Link / XMCFlasher or Mini-Wiggler / DAVE IDE
In other words how do I locate the variable in a location that flash programming won't reach.
Thank you in advance

Hi there,
The 'CAPTURE_Init' function causes an immediate capture interrupt even though the configured input pin does not change state with the resulting measured frequency of 3 Hz. This appears to be a bug in the DAVE CAPTURE APP.

In my case the 'CAPTURE_Init' function is being called via the 'DAVE_Init' function
Also no function seems to be available to configure the interrupt enable, only the ability to start & stop the capture timer.
Any help would be much appreciated

Hello team,
I am using XMC4800. How can I print the buffer data out, in the debugger command console?
I tried directly put command " print buffer " in the console. It works but when I put this command in the breakpoint actions, there is no ouput on the debugger console.
Is there any other solution to print out a large buffer data (greater than 100) in one go?
Thank you Show Less

Hi,
I posted this issues on the XMC Forum a few days ago, but since I haven't received any responses, I figured I might have posted in the wrong forum, so I'll here as well (btw, I'm very new this forum and products).
I just bought an OPTIGA Trust XMC 4800 IoT Connectivity Kit, and have just started going through some tutorials, such as for DAVE.
There's a DAVE QuickStart Guide for how to make a LED blink using a generated PWM signal. I follow the instructions, and have tried to use both the
"XMC4800 IoT Connectivity Kit" under Boards, as well as the XMC4800-F100x2048" under the "XMC4800 Series" option, but in both cases neither P4.0 nor P4.1
are available when I try to assign the PWM output (these are LED pins on the board). Has anyone encountered the same problem?
Thanks! Show Less

IFI.LG or IFI.HG is P14.0 or P14.4

I understand => 0x40004400->RES[0]

I updated my library last week. Now when I add SPI Master App I get errors.
SPI Master version is 4.3.26
It is the desired bus speed that is causing error. It is s usual set as 19.2 as default. Which gives you a pop up error.
"Entered value is not in range [0.1, 0.0]."
"Control will be updated with last saved value"
Those values are of course not correct. a bus speed of 0.0 KHz would not work very well.
I have tried creating a new workspace with a new project and just addin SPI Master and still get the bug.
Any workaround?
I went back to version 4.3.24 for now. That seems to work. Show Less
