Hi all,
I have my program in XMC4500... Is it possible to create second new project with only one "user" function();
This user function should be in special place in Flash memory (which is denied for first main program)
Calling the user function from main program could be done by pointer to function from special place in Flash memory.
My target: Upload the first main program to the XMC4500. Then user can create second program and add it to the flash memory (throught Memtool).
Is it possible????

Hi, I am using the DAVE app I2S002 with the XMC4500 Relax Kit board. What I try to do is to get half-duplex I2S TX with DMA with both audio channels (right/left) working. Currently I see only I2S data on the left I2S channel. The right channel data frame is always high (or low depending on the SCTR.PDL bit setting). Both the frame width and data width are set to 16 bit, which should be correct. SCLKOUT is 1.5 MHZ and SELOX (WCLK) is 48 kHz.
I guess that I only get left channel I2S TX data has something to do with the DMA configuration or DMA itself, because when I switch to the I2S002 app setting half-duplex I2C TX without DMA I can see audio data on both the left and the right channel. During my research on the configuration settings for DMA I didn't find a solution for my problem.
I would be really grateful if you could help me on this. In XMC4500's manual I can't find a solution to this problem. Please let me know if you need any specific information from me. Show Less

Good day,
I want to customized Output Waveform, using DACWG003.
I can choose between Triangle, Sinus und Custom waveforms.
Question is, for last case, where in memory LUT (say, from 256 points) shall be located?
Or maybe Interrupt shall be used each time for new customaized value?
Please clarify.

Hello,
I would like know how to build a static library with Dave and how to link it with another project.
I have tried to make a new ARM-GCC Library for XMC4500 Project and after add the include and source files I have compiled the code.
Then from the properties of the main project on Settings->ARM-GCC C Linker->Libraries I have added the name of the library in Libraries (-l). After that I have compiled the main code without any error but when the flow of the program arrives to a function of the linked library, the debugger stops working and appears one message saying that the compiler can't find the library.
For other hand, I have tried to build a static library from a Empty Project. From properties menu of the new project on Settings->ARM-GCC C Linker->Miscellaneous I have added the next flags "-shared -fPIC -DPIC" but when I have compiled the project I get the next error.
c:/dave-3.1/arm-gcc/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/4.6.2/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: library.o: relocation R_ARM_THM_MOVW_ABS_NC against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
Anyone had built before a static library? I will be so grateful if someone tells me the steps to do it.
Thanks in advance and best regards,

Hi, I'm developing a simple application for sending HTTP get or post request to a remote server. (I have an XMC4500 RelaxKit board)
I can't find any HTTP client example for my board but I have found one lwIP based : http://developer.mbed.org/users/RodColeman/code/lwip-mbed-2010/file/0791c1fece8e/Core
My questions are:
-can I use these files in my Dave project? (note that sources are C++ file)
-how can I import them?
If I can't use them 'as they are', what should I change in order to fit them for my board?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Infineon and DAVE, so please excuse me if my problem is simple.
I am trying to configure the PWMSP003 app using the three Events (0, 1, and 2). My goal is to have each of the events connected to an external pin input to perform External Start, External Stop, and External Gating functions. My problem is that when I try to configure the connections using the Signal Connection tool, I am able to configure the first event and click solve and save, but when I try to configure another event, I receive the following error:
"Requested connectivity not possible, please review the signal connections marked in red color"
I checked that I am able to complete each connection separately, but when trying to do more than one, I receive the above error.
I have also tried to read more information in the help file, but my help file seems to be missing the "App Configuration" section (I am using v3.1.10) (I have emailed support regarding this)
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance! Show Less
