Hi there,
I'm trying to run the DAVE3 app PMSMFOCSL02[1.0.6] with "2 Shunts", "Voltage Compensation" and "POT measurement" on the XMC4400 Motor Control Kit. While I managed to run some other PMSM apps this one really bothers me. Can someone please explain me how to configure the ADC channels?
Is there a General way to figure out which ADC channel is used for which measurement (either in DAVE or in the generated code)? I took a look at the generated "PMSMFOCSL02.c" but it's not very obvious which channels are used (at least for me).
Thanks a lot. Show Less

Hi,
I'm working on an XMC2Go Devkit and am using the xSpy feature. While I am getting some values the refresh / response rate of the xSpy GUI is incredibly slow.
E.g. I am toggling an LED with two buttons and while the LED lights up more or less instantly (streaming data with 10 Hz), it takes about 10+ seconds sometimes until my corresponding status radio button changes its status.
Besides, I am not able to get the progressbar to work, it always shows zero although a stream box with the same variable shows a value. Other GUI items seem to work.
If I increase the UARD baudrate above 115.2 kbaud I don't get any variables when connecting to the hardware.
Is there some trick to get the GUI faster?
Another issue is that my TRACE messages are not shown at all in the Log viewer. I've set the compile time filter to TRACE so they should not be filtered out.
Is there some proper documentation for the xSpy feature? The builtin DAVE help of the DBG002 App and xSpy itself aren't really a lot of help. Show Less

There are two options to install the DAVE Apps libraries / device descriptions libraries:
1) Directly in DAVE
Go to: >Help>Install DAVE Apps/Example Library>Select "Work with: 'DAVE Project Library Manager'">Select all Libraries
If nothing is shown, there are no newer versions of DAVE Apps and Device Descriptions available.
To over-install existing libraries, just uncheck “Hide items that are already downloaded”.
2) Download zip file from DAVE support portal and install locally
Download the complete DAVE App Library to a local folder (e.g. c:\apps_library) from DAVE Apps Download webpage --> Unzip the downloaded zip file
Go to: >Help>Install DAVE Apps/Example Library>Click “Add”
The above information was stated in DAVE installation procedure attached with installer package. Show Less

Hello,
I am trying to configure synchronous ADC conversion for an XMC4500 Relax Kit with DAVE3.
The example project "ADCSYNC001_Example1" works fine, but when I tried to reproduce the example, the interrupt function was never executed.
While trying to figure out why my configuration does not work, I noticed that the example does not use the newest app versions.
I migrated the example project to the newest app versions. Now the interrupt function is not executed in the example project anymore, just like in my own project.
My interpretation of the situation is that the newest app version of "ADC002", "ADCSYNC001", and "NVIC002" are either not compatible with each other, or are not compatible with the XMC4500 F100x1024-AC on the XMC Relax board.
Is it possible somehow to downgrade the installed DAVE apps to the older versions that are used in "ADCSYNC001_Example1"? This would allow me to reproduce the example project.
With kind regards,
Christian Show Less

Hi Sophia,
We would like to use the MODBUS001 app with an XMC4500 step AC, but it looks like support is only available for
step AA silicon. Is there any plan to update this app for use with step AC?
If we have to cut and paste code from a step AA project to a step AC project, what would be the cleanest way to proceed? What is the best way preserve the dependencies of the MODBUS001 App on NVIC002, SYSTM001, UART001, etc.?

Hi,
I'm doing my first steps with Dave 3.1.10 and I use the Relax-Kit with the webserver example. It work's with DHCP. Now I've changed the DHCP mode to a fix IP. (ETH-app) But the board is running furthermore into the DHCP mode.
As well I noticed that the yellow LED on the RJ45-jack doesn't work.
What is wrong? Has someone an idea?
Thanks Show Less

Hello,
I'm trying to setup an ADC Queue measurement with the ADC_QUEUE app for the new DAVE4 for a XMC4400.
Unfortunately I can only select the ADC_MEASUREMENT [4.0.0] app. Both ADC_QUEUE [4.0.1] and ADC_SCAN [4.0.1] are not listed in the "Add new APP" module,
although they are installed and present in the D_LibraryStore_4.0.0 folder.
How can I "activate" the missing apps?
Is there a rough date when we can expect the final DAVE4 (Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4)? Show Less
