I read that Modustoolbox now starts to support XMC devices also. What plan does Infineon have for the future of this tool?
Do you intend continuing support of DAVE for XMC controllers, or is it intended to abandon DAVE and push Modustoolbox
to become the main tool for all the Infineon/Cypress microcontrollers in the near future?

Hi,

We will have DAVE in maintenance mode , their will be no future update on DAVE with very limited or no support.
XMC 1000 and 4000 series are already migrated to support with MTB and in future all the XMC new platform will be supported by Modus Toolbox.
Modus toolbox is the Future moving ahead for all the Industrial microcontroller including XMCs.

Best Regards,
Vasanth

Is this an Infineon statement? Could you refer to something more official, lika a press-release or so?
