Hi all,
I am unable to connect to NAC1080 Target using Segger Jlink v9.
I configured the debug configuration as mentioned in the datasheet.
I got the below result as shown in the image

Dear Support Team
The enclosed file mention that there is a NLM-PWM Demo.apk which is used for testing the NLM0011 Chip, but I couldn't find out where to get it. Where to get it? Many thanks.

Hi,
I saw an article 200W wireless power transmission system with data transfer. We are working on something similar and would like to know about demo board. But i couldnt find much details regarding it online. Can someone share more data on it?
here is the link I am referring to: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/about-infineon/press/market-news/2018/INFPMM201803-042.html
Show LessI am trying to estimate the max theoretical power an NFT tag could harvest.
- Our input is the size of the antenna. We will use class 1 ( the largest one from the NFC std). The area without traces is 64mmx34mm.
- We also know the maximum magnetic field: In this case the NFC std limits that to 7.5A/m.
We found that for far-field we could use the power density calculation as Pd (Watts/meter2) = E × H (Volts/meter × Amperes/meter)
You can re-orange that and use Pd=H^2*Z ( Z for air is around 377 Ohms)
So if we were to determine the maximum harvested power, we could use Pd*Antenna.
Is this the right approach or are there better estimates for NFC?
Thanks
Alex

Hi All,
I purchased DEVKITNAC1080 recently. I don't have a Segger debug kit. Can I flash code using cy8ckit-002 Miniprog3 debug kit? or Is there any other alternate debugger?

Hello,
How can I change the default supervior key for NAC1080 Dev-Kit?
I have just invested in the NAC1080 dev kit and I am really interested in developing this further. Whilst I have some reasonable microcontroller experience, I have none with the Infineon portfolio (It's mainly microchip, MS .net microframework or Arduino). Can anybody help me with the development tools, hardware and software, I'll need to be able to not only develop my own firmware for this device but also be able to program it onto NAC1080 devices deployed to my own PCBs.
As far are the IOS/Andriod development does anyone know if it is supported in the Xamarin tool set or if only native apps are supported?
Much appreciated, Jason.
Show LessHi All,
I have purchased DEVKITNAC1080 recently and I am trying to set up a software environment currently. I prefer Eclipse environment along with Jlink for development. Below is the current setup of the DEVKITNAC1080.
I am able to successfully flash the firmware using Jlink Flash lite as I have modified global JlinkDevices.xml.
I have configured the Eclipse as per the below document section#4.2.2
Now as I try to debug control is not reaching _nvm_start or nor I am hitting any breakpoint. Below is a snapshot of debug environment.

Hi
In application NFC passive lock implementation with NAC1080 (infineon.com), it is mentioned that the with different mobiles and antennas, it is possible to get 10mW-40mW. However, we could not find in the datasheet the maximum power harvesting the NAC1080 and NCA1081 can get in passive mode, when running at its maximum 10 A/m field strength.
The datasheet explains that VCC_HB can be used as Input/ Output. Output mode is used in passive mode and a capacitor needs to be connected. However, no explanation is given about the maximum current the chip could deliver under the max field strenght conditions.
Does anybody knows?
Thanks
