Hello,
Could anyone help me in understanding the internal structure and cross section of the discrete TO- 247 packaged IGBT (IHW20N120R3). I am interested in how it is built.
Is there some layer on top of the chip similar to that of a module?

Hi there!
I have a doubt in the controller ICE1HS01G.
In case of output short circuit of the converter, the sample of current in pin 2 will be more than 1,6V and the controller will turn off.
After this, the only way to restart it is turn off and turn on the power supply??
I am working in a SMPS design for telecom, and sometimes the consumer will put the output cables in short circuit... so, the smps must be able to support this condition.
Sincerelly.

Hello,
I am working on an application where in I am trying to study the switching characteristics of IGBT under dielectric liquid at high voltage.
Could you please let me know TO- 247 packaged IGBTs could be immersed in the liquid?
I could not find the exact chemical composition. But I could find the trade names. There are two oils which are used as follows.
1)shell diala s4 zx-i (mineral oil - http://tdc.ge/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/1_Diala_S4_ZX-I.pdf)
2) MIDEL 7131 - Synthetic Ester Transformer Fluid ( https://www.midel.com/app/uploads/2018/05/MIDEL-7131-Product-Brochure.pdf

Hello! I am using TLE5012B via SSC interface (bit bang mode, not hardware spi, connection according to the datasheet). I write to sensor command 0x8012 (read angle value) and then i get two words (angle value + safety word). For example: command word: 0x8012, response words: 0xCDAC and 0x1F0B.
My calculated CRC is 0xED. But the CRC part in safety word is 0x0B. I must note that angle value is CORRECT during the 360 degrees of magnet rotating. Tell me please what's the problem? P.S. In attachment you can see the example of transaction. Show Less

Hello,
we have bought some TLE5012B sensors preconfigured as SPC devices (E9000 derivate), but we would like to use them as SSC devices, so according the manual there is a possibility to reconfigure the chip writing the needed configuration to MOD4 register (the 2 lower bits).
I have tried to configure this register writing there 00b or 01b but without success. The chip continue to run as E9000. I've checked the configuration reading MOD4 register but I have the same value there (11b), so nothing was saved. I am pretty sure it is working everything with my reading/writing functions, because everything works with angles, checksum has also a right value.
I've tried to change interface configuration of another derivate (E5020), but also without any signs of success. It always stays the same configuration in the MOD4 register, so it seems not to be possible to reconfigure any TLE5012B chip.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone , greetings!!
I am designing a board which contains tracks with current capacity as high as 80 Amps.
1)Is there a method which will help me to obtain correct track width using some track width calculator ?
2)If the track width is too large to accommodate in the PCB (say 1600 mils or 40 mm)how else can I implement such a high current track ?
3)Is it advisable to use copper wires on the unmasked copper tracks as the former has wider cross sectional area ?
Note : It is worth noting that the regular freeware tools available online for trace width/ conductor width calculation is applicable till 35 Amps. So we have to search for other options for higher rating currents. Show Less

Hi
I am trying to get valid data from a DPS310 sensor but somewhere there is a mix up. Either my office is freezing cold or inhumanly hot and of course both these options are not true.
Can some kind person publish all ROM values for a DPS310 component so I can verify the mathematics in my program. If I get known good values I can load these in my variables and run the program to figure out if the HW or SW is
the major problem.
Yes I know there is a dev board for this and I have this already but I can't use the Arduino examples because of my HW.
On a different subject: Does anyone know why the SPI is removed from the Github examples? I think my SPI is working but I want to verify it. Show Less

Hallo,
I'm trying out the TLE5012B. My problem is, every time I make a 360° turn I get values between 0 an 16383 (0x3FFF). Normaly I should get values from +16383 to -16383.
The MOD-2 - AND_RANGE is 0x080. The bit-14 is every time 0, so I get never a negetiv number.
Does anyone have an idea what the mistake is? Show Less
