Hi,
I am looking for phase noise specifications for the CY22394 clock generator. Where can I find information on noise performance?
Thanks,
Jim
Show LessHi supporters,
I would like to confirm crystal specifications for CY25560SXI.
ESR ,Drive level ,frequency tolerance ,and so on.
I can not find recommended crystal specifications on the datasheet.

While using the program provided - ClockWizard 2.1 to configure the CY27410, it was noted that the register addresses, e.g. 0x000000, 0x0186A0, are 24 bits long listed in the memory map of the results tab. This seems to contradict the information on I2C communication found in the datasheet.
On page 8 of 30 in Document Number: 001-89074 Rev. *M, it is documented that "A valid write operation must have a full 8-bit register." Furthermore, on page 9 of 30 on the same document, the following is noted: "... the CY27410 issues an acknowledge and transmits the 8-bit word."
It is clear that the datasheet of the CY27410 states that it reads and writes 8-bit words.
My question is then, why does the program ClockWizard 2.1 suggest that the addresses are 24 bits long, identified by the hex addresses listed in the results tab in the memory map section.

Hi,
I am using the CY7B9950 RoboClock® and need to know the operating humidity range and the non-operating humidity range, can you please provide this info?
Thanks!

Hi,
What SW tool and Programing kit should be used for programing CY2546 24QFN? Is this a new part in the family?
Previously I was using CY2544 which I programed using CY3675 and CY3675-QFN24A programing kit. I used Clock Programer 1.20, I installed the latest clock programer and I don't see support for CY2546.
Thanks,

Hello everybody,
maybe I'm only blind, but I can not figure out how to enable the VCXO,OE and PD features on the CY22801 in CyClocksRT...
I'd like to use either the CY22800 or CY22801 chip to generate a 55,5MHz clock from a 10MHz crystal + VCXO.
10MHz -> 55,5MHz on the CY22800 is not possible with InstaClock, as I can only use the predefined configurations.
Or is there a similar feature to select multiplicator/divider settings as is in CyClicksRT for the CY22801?
On the other hand, I can specify 10MHz -> 55,5MHz on the CY22801 with CyClocks, but I can not see how to enable the VCXO.
Best regards
Andreas
Hi,
I've a simple question regarding CY22150, to which I wasn't able to find a solution in datasheets, forum nor knowledge-base.
In our design, we want to minimize the period jitter of CY22150's outputs to a minimum. I've found that we have to raise VCO frequencies, but can you tell me if it is (in terms of jitter performance) better to use
- an external, low-jitter clock as a reference
- or a crystal input
- or no difference between both options?
Are there other things or settings we have to take into account to minimize the output jitter?
Thanks a lot,
bye, Harald
