Hi,
can anyone tell me if I can use the CY2302 as a level shifter? I want to create a zero delayed 3.3V - version of a 5V CMOS clock signal.
According to the datasheet the voltage at any pin can be up to 7V, independent of the supply voltage. Also the HIGH and LOW input voltage levels are the same for a 3.3V and 5V supply.
Thus I think it should be possible by supplying the CY2302 with 3.3V and apply the 5V clock to the reference input.
Does anything speak against it? E.g. an inflluence on the zero delay property?

Show LessHi there-
Not sure exactly where to put this, but here goes. We've been running a Analog Devices Pll w/ an app we created using the CyUSB.dll ver 3.4.7.0 with .Net 4.6.1. We recently updated our hardware to Windows 10, and now the application is crashing when it calls CyConst::DEVICES_CYUSB. This triggers an "arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow" error in CyUSB.PInvoke.CountDevices();. Any ideas on how to solve this? Are we going to be forced to update to the newer .dll?
Thanks
Show LessSorry but I have another question.
I have a chip labeled CY2291SC-104. What does the number "104" ?
Is it a symbol for the factory preconfiguration of the integrated circuit, or something else?
Can I replace CY2291SC-104 on chip CY2291FX ?
Show LessHello All,
Im using CY8C4127LQI-BL473 for my application. What is the maximum clock frequency that i can generate from 'Clock' resource in psoc creator? I need it to generate a sine wave using PWM and filtering. For e.g., Im trying to get 500kHz PWM with 24MHz clock which gets me period count of 48. If i can increase the input clock the resolution can increase as well?
Thanks

Show LessI want to interface cy22393 with vertex-5 xilinx kit using vhdl code, clock of cy22393 will be used for other components also. Can I get an example of that interfacing code?
Show LessHello
Starting from a 24Mhz crystal I need an output on the same frequency but with vcxo capability.
May I use a CY22800 or do I need a CY22801 ?
I though that with CY36800 InstaClock could be possible to configure all the features of the chips, but reading
this post "http://www.cypress.com/forum/programmable-clocks/instaclock-genius-effort" seems different.
Becouse the CY36800 kit is not currently available on short time, there is a document with the protocol for programming the chips?
Show LessHi,
I'm exploring using the CY23FS04 to allow optional system synchronization with an external clock. I've had trouble finding any off-the-shelf pullable crystals. For a 100MHz system clock, I'd need a 16.667 MHz crystal. If I used the CY23FS08, I could also use a 12.500 or 25.000 MHz crystal. Does anyone know of an OTS source for pullable crystals at one of these frequencies?
Thanks,
-Greg
Show LessHello,
I am keep getting an error on the last step of the instaclock software. On step 5(Plug programmer and program device), somehow my computer is not detecting my board, and it's saying "connect your Titanium board". I don't know why this is the case, and I am really getting annoyed by this error, so I would very much appreciate help/guidance.
Thanks
Show LessI'm looking for a reference design/schematic for the CY22800 clock generator.
Couldn't find anything on the Cypress website.
I created a new case for this, but wanted to try the forum also.
Any suggestions anyone?
Thanks!
