Power consumption will go up as you increase the drive strength, and the higher your frequency the more power you will use as well. At higher temperatures your transistors will switch slower and your jitter will go up, if you increase your drive strength it may help to reduce jitter since you will have slightly faster edges. But it can also increase jitter as well, since you will have a noisier power supply as your outputs will be switching harder and faster.     

   

So you need to check and optimize the increase in drive strength with the available settings to help reduce jitter when you are operating at higher frequencies and temperature!
