Class D Audio Amplifier IC Forum Discussions
Hi,
I have a custom board with 16 x MA2304DNS, each with different resistors for a different I2C address (supposedly from 0 to 15).
There appear to be two issues with the custom I2C addressing:
The datasheet table with the resistor values appears to have R1 and R2 the incorrect way around, so my devices are coming up with addresses of 0, 8, 16, 24, 32 etc rather than 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
Also, more annoyingly, various of the devices are incorrectly detecting the 100k resistor as an 150k resistor, so their addresses are incorrect (ie device ID 9 reports as device 8 instead, device ID 17 reports as 16, however devices 1, 33, and 49 identify correctly).
Am I going mad? Has anyone else noticed this issue?

we are testing oe board with irs2092s and mosfet is K3595 2pcs in half bridge
we are facing problem with out put voltage.
for example when we are giving input signal 1V rms at that time our out put voltage is 33V at no load condition
on same when we connect 4ohm resistive load at that time out voltage drops 23V
so please help to resolve this issue
our supply voltage for power stage is 48V+- dc

Show LessI'm designing an amplifier with IRS2452AM IC with external clock.
Functional description Application Note tells: "The CLK pin receives a clock signal referenced to GND. The input threshold is set for 3.3 V logic."
But, in datasheet:
And in IRAUDAMP23 circuit there is an oscillator which works from 0V to 5V and, after C4, from -2.5V to 2.5V.
Which would be correct or best option?

dear all we are working on the project class D amplifier, based on IRS2092,
we are following the reference document IRUDAMP9.
In some pcb, we found that capacitor C33 , C34 (0.47uF /250V) is burnt out
they are getting burn out , when we switch on the set.
this is not 100%, but still , 5% sets we found.
and once we replace the cap, PCB is working fine
we are using Kemet make high arc capacitor 0.22uF/500V
pl suggest what could be the reason

Hello, I'm designing a new amplifier based on IRS2452AM but I dont understand well how configurate the self-oscillator resistor if I use an external oscillator in CLK pin. Do I have to adjust to the external oscillator frecuency?

Show LessHello, I`m involved in a new amplifier design based on IRS2452AM. I have a doubt about the post-filter feedback used in IRAUDAMP23 evaluation board. It is not used in the typical application circuit from Functional Description AppNote and I don`t know if it is recommended o not. What did you based on to decide if your design need one of this.

I'm designing a Class D amplifier to work like a transconductance power amplifier. I have doubts about the modulation index configuration in the IRS2092. I read the AN1138, and I understood that the modulation index is the rate between Ifb and Iin (page 5), but I'm not sure.
Can you help me with this? Thanks!

We are looking at designing a 600W Audio Amplifier and the IRS2461S looks a suitable candidate. The user manual for the REF_IRS2461S_5KW reference design says the Schematics are available on request, does anyone know how I could get a copy of the Altium schematics.
