Hi,

We are starting off a new design with adopting MA5332MS amplifier solution. We have a chance to use differential output source to work with MA5332MS.

Since the datasheet states the balanced configuration can cause slightly higher distortion and the compensation RC seem not exactly the counterpart of feedback end. And I take it we'll unable to test it on the evaluation board. So I'm intrigued to know if the Balance-Input configuration can have the benefit of better CMRR than Single-End configuration. This information will be very valuable for our new design. Thanks for your help!

Hello @TrueTed

We don't have any test data available for  CMRR vs frequency.
If you have bought the evaluation board, you can download the Gerber files from the below link.

Hello @TrueTed

Thank you for posting in the Infineon community.
When compared to a single-ended configuration, differential configuration should have a better CMRR.
The CMRR will degrade as the frequency increases.
The distortion observed in MA5332MS is also at high frequencies.
Could you tell us what your end application is and what frequency you intend to use?

Hi Nishanth,

Thanks for your reply. We have a multi-channel amplifier project which has an audio DSP included. Since we noticed that MA5332MS can be configured to be a balanced input structure. We would like to take the advantage of better CMRR of this kind of structure. So as to avoid some unwanted ground noise.

Regarding the CMRR degrading of high frequencies. May I have any test data or any ball park figure for reference?

Besides, we really need some suggestions of the the thermal pads(vias). Can we get the Gerber files of the MA5332 daughter board of evaluation board or thermal-pads guides for reference as well.

Thanks and Best Regards.
