Dear Developer team / community
we are looking to make a design for audio amplifier , our target is to achieve 3000W /ch
2 ch amp we are planning to make.
3000W/CH at 4 ohm load we are planning.
can u please suggest the CHIPSET we should use, and some application notes /document on this.

Hi,
We do have a reference design that is close to the application. This will be a good starting point.
REF_IRS2461S_5kW (This Ref_design we will share with you through your mail ID). This design is 2500W x 2 @ 2ohm.
The exception is that it would be better to use the MA2492WE instead of IRS2461S.
MA2492WE is an isolated high voltage Class D gate driver scheduled to be released this summer. It is specifically designed to handle very high voltage applications where Gate drive requirements (MOSFET Coss) are high. Its gate drive capability is significantly higher than IRS2461S. Its source sink capability is 5A/9A respectively.
Another exception is the MOSFET selection. It would be preferable to use CoolMOS C7 600V due the high voltage requirement to achieve 3000W @ 4ohm.
