Recently, we used ma12070p to do a digital power amplifier project

Can ma12070p power on work without MCU software control

Hi!

Thank you for creating a thread in the Infineon Developer Community 🙂

Yes, MA12070P can be powered on without MCU control, In order to do so please do the following,

1. Hardware the MSEL0 and MSEL1 for the output configuration you want (See Table 9-1, P27 in the datasheet).
2. Hardwire the I2C address for the desired address, if applicable (See Table 8-12, P24 in the datasheet).
3. Hardwire the ENABLE pin LOW and the MUTE pin HIGH.

The device will start immediately when PVdd AVdd and DVdd is present. You can also use an RC network on the MUTE pin to slowly turn on audio preventing any click and pop noises at startup.
