Hi, Infineon team,
I want to know how to design for CSX Touchpad.
It seems that there is the document of AN234185 PSoC™ 4 CAPSENSE™ Touchpad design guide .

The PCB reference data has been gotten from the link in this thread.

However, I would like to know the design rules, and why these designs should be used.

I am considering measuring the liquid level by placing one electrode about 1mm below the bottom of a container of liquid (About 1 cm to 2 cm in diameter).
In this case, how can I calculate the capacitance resolution?

Problem:
Some customers may encounter some non-standard tests in their product development, such as the microwave interference experiment in this paper (using a transmitter to emit a certain power of 2.4GHz interference in a timed and directed manner, commonly found in microwave ovens).
Touch buttons are very susceptible to high levels of interference in this type of test.
Sharing Methods:
1 . Set the IDAC sensing configuration to IDAC sinking; large GND is more likely to receive interference, with excellent MCU power supply using IDAC sinking can reduce the key signal drop, more easily through the experiment.
2. Increase the Low Baseline Reset; you need to match the firing period of the interference to prevent the Baseline from dropping too much due to the interference.
For special cases you can set Low Baseline Reset Size to 16bit in Advanced Settings.
3. Increase the Regular widget baseline coefficient and Sense Noise appropriately;
The above is some sharing about the microwave interference experiment which is non-standard The experiment has no clear test standard regulations.

I have created a custom touch board using the cy8mbr3116 device but cannot get it to connect with ez-click 2. I have copied the schematic from the design guide, including the 330r series resistors (added post schematic attached) on the scl/sda lines and added 10k pullups to vcc. Ive tried connecting using different values of pullup for scl/sda (2k2, 6k8 etc), still no good.
Im out of ideas, but need to get this working for a commercial project. can anyone help?

你好,关于MBR3设置了自动阈值调整,请问下阈值根据哪个参数,以怎么样的形式进行调整的?以什么的标准进行调整?在界面上可设置的参数太少,无法判定阈值是否可靠?因为观察到用同一铜柱进行测试,Rawdata变化基本不变,但是SNR确是随着触摸,逐渐减小,为什么?SNR计算的标准不是信号量/噪声吗?以上是我的理解,请协助下

据我所知,第五代CAPSENSE相比第四代将电容(包括自电容+互电容技术)和电感触摸技术集成到了一起,SNR信噪比是上一代的十多倍,同时功耗仅是上一代的十分之一。但是这张图在感应模式上第四代和第五代似乎别无二致,我想知道是不是第四代CAPSENSE技术只是不能同时支持这三种模式,但是可以不同时支持?
