CAPSENSE™ & MagSense Forum Discussions
Hi Community,
I am getting issues in reading tuner data. It is not getting connected. I need help to debug this issue.

L9663 PSI5 convert SPI protocol chip, there are no routines, the supplier did not ask for it!

Show LessIs there any information on the frequency attenuation of TLE4973 for CRTF values for different busbar sizes?
For example, in vertical mode, Busbar width is 18mm, thickness is 3mm, other sizes are also available.
What are the CRTF values at DC, AC@1kHz, AC@2kHz, and AC@10kHz?

Show LessGood morning everyone, I have a system with Psoc4100S-Plus, VDDA at 5V and VDDD at 3.3V.
The CapSense block is powered by VDDA.
Why is the Tx signal for CSX mode 3.3V?
Can it be set to 5V of VDDA?
What is the process rule of PSoC4000T? Is it same as PSoC4 series(130nm)?

Show LessHi,
I was was researching input methods/switches for desktop use and I stumbled across this device https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine-plus/ . I was able to interact with this device and what caught my interest the most were the (presumably) capacitive pads (the 4x4 grid with big rectangular buttons). They felt super responsive and I wanted to try and make a keyboard using similar type of input. I am confused, however, as to what components I would need for that project. The ones i'm unsure about are the buttons (I had a look at the MBR3 evaluation kit but I can't tell how the buttons are construted) that would sit behind the block of plastic (or other appropriate material similar to the one on the maschine device - I do want these to protrude out similar to keys on a keyboard), the touch microcontrollers, and then microcontrollers that are collecting the output from these. Eventually I want to go up to a tkl design which uses 108 keys. I also care about latency and reliability so a 1kHz polling would be expected (although I would consider designs up to 10kHz).
I am completely green when it comes to pcb design so I'd appreciate any help
Show LessWe have experience tuning PSoC1 and PSoC4 non-MAX ICs to sense through thick gloves or even 5mm+ of cover glass. However, we are still learning about the CapSENSE 5 capabilities found in the PSoC4 MAX. Using the Pioneer kit, I've been able to overlay about 4mm of cover glass on the touchpad found on the expansion board and still get good response, but haven't experimented further. Has anyone out there explored the limits of what's possible for sensing distance using the PSoC4 MAX? Anyone hit 10mm? Obviously, this will be dependent on sensor design/construction.
Show LessI have summarized a few of the more central evaluation points for this feature of level detection, and I hope to discuss them together:
1. The cost of the level detection program (do not answer this if you are not sure)
2. Maximum detection range.
3. Types of liquids (conductive liquids (molten metals, ion-containing solutions), non-conductive liquids, organic solvents.
4. Type of container (container wall thickness requirements, container conductivity requirements).
Let's say I want to check the water depth of a fish tank, then can I accept the cost. If I want to check the oil level of a fuel tank, can I use a metal tank + organic solvent? I want to detect the height of the soldering furnace, then the molten metal can be used. I have encountered a need to detect the level of molten metal, it seems that the final use of laser distance measurement. I know that more accurate detection and identification of foam is an advantage of this model, but is it only suitable for simple applications such as washing machines and coffee makers.
