Hello,

I'm working on a project were I need to measure or detect the waterlevel in an adjacent case where water is flowing. The intention is to create a pcb with a Capsense pattern and place is to wall of this case and use one of the Cypress MCU to do the algorithm. But I have no experience with this and don't know which MCU is best for this application.

We have a prototype that works with a STM32 MCU, but the accuracy is not good enough. That is why we want to switch to one of Cypress MCU.

My questions:

- Which Cypress MCU is best for my project?

- What kind of pattern for the Capsense sensor is best for my application?

 If needed I can provide the Capsense sensor design pattern we use at the moment.

The application note suggests the use of  CY8CKIT-022 kit for prototyping the LLS model.

And for the device selection you could go with any of the following device families based on your application requirements.

  1. PSoC4000S - For Entry Level latest CapSense Device
  2. PSoC4100S
  3. PSoC4100S Plus
