Hello,
I need some help how to start tuning with CY8CKIT-149 kit. I need to get demo working to put slider and buttons to glass overlay of 2mm thickness.
- Should i start with Auto-tuning or manual tuning? could you recommended documentation how to do tuning?
- Slider is placed to glass surface. Should i remove Acrylic overlay from slider(from dev kit)?
Best regards
Teijo

[Ans]
First, the initial parameters are determined by auto-tuning.
See Section "5. CapSense Performance tuning".

[Ans]
After removing the slider overlay, you can either glue the glass overlay or assign the GPIO of CY8CKIT-149 to other pins and hardwire the original board.
What kind of development environment(IDE) are you planning to use?
If you are thinking of using "Modus Toolbox", I think the below URL and attached file will be helpful.
Because the CapSense of PSoC6 and PS and PSoC4 are almost the same.
