I want to use a two layers FPC to design a slide with CY8CMBR3106S.But I'm not sure if the soldermask(usually use PI material) will affect the sensitivity or not?Should I expose the slide segment pad?
You do not have to provide a soldermask there. The insulating material will not drastically affect the sensitivity and will help in preventing the copper from oxidising and reducing performance over time.
