I'm using CYW20721. My application which supports OTA is around 750Kb. Since the total internal flash is 1Mb, I think it's not possible to do a OTA FW Upgrade coz my new app will also be around the same size.
Is there a provision to connect an external flash to the CYW20721? I want to connect an external flash of size 2Mb (Will stop using Internal flash 1Mb then).
If connecting an External flash is possible, does this need any changes in the SDK?

In SPP, if the MTU of the connection destination is small, that value will be used.
Therefore, it seems that the length sent by wiced_bt_spp_send_session_data cannot exceed the negotiated MTU value.
If the MTU value is exceeded, no transmission will be performed.
wiced_bt_spp_rfcomm_get_peer_mtu will result in a link error.
How do I get the MTU value used when connecting?
A project developped inside ModusToolBox for CYBT-423054-02 can run on a CYBT-423028-02? If not, how can I develop a prject for CYBT-423028-02 inside ModusToolBox?Show Less
We are developing CYBT-483056-02 with MTB2.2.
On CYBT-483039-02 with CYW20719B1, it was necessary to add the following settings in WICED.
Do I need to make similar settings when developing CYBT-483056-02 with MTB?
Should I set the output setting of CYW20719B2 to -2dBm (because PA / LNA is 22dBm) in order to obtain POUT of 20dBm?
I prepare the mesh network based on the AN227069 - Use Case #1: Dimmer Switch Controlling
Three Dimmable Light Bulbs.
Everything was perfectly but when I try to re assign the dimmer to control only 1 light bulb instead of group of lights. I accidentally delete the network that I created and now I cannot my smart phone cannot join the BT mesh network.
Is that anyway to rejoin the netwrok? Or anywhere to reset it. Any suggestion?
While trying to build the "empty_project", I get a build error that it can not link to the elf file. Build output is attached.
It is not building the elf file for the empty project. I have no idea why or even where to check the specification that it build the elf file.
I compared the empty project to the "Hello_senor" project. Makefile, and all settings look similar (save directory changes).
I have a microphone connected to my CYW920819 board via i2s.
Unfortunately I am unable to get it to stream to my bt headphones via a2dp (is it even possible?).
I am using the watch example for this board and followed the blog below to route i2s.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I want to send data via I2S DOut channel to an audio codec chip on the CYW920819EVB-02 board but I couldn't find a way to do it. I'm looking at https://cypresssemiconductorco.github.io/btsdk-docs/BT-SDK/208XX-A1_Bluetooth/API/index.html
Is there any way to write I2S manually without routing?Show Less
I am using CYW20819 board and mesh controller app for my application. I observe in app that when device or module advertise it shows device name and UUID only but if I want to know the RSSI value Before and after provisioning of a device. So please help me to understand how can I implement this in the firmware side and android app side?
Thanks and Regards,

Can you point me to any examples for enabling PDS and SDS Sleep for the CYW20179B2 chip for ModusToolBox V2.1 SDK Version 2.7.1? Or to a comprehensive guide for implementing & verifying specific Sleep use cases?
I am familiar with the 'low power sensor' example that was provided in WICED Studio (6.4) for the CYW20719B1, ... and this example seems to demonstrate the exact behavior we are looking to enable in our design:
- Indefinite / Extended Sleep
- Wake from SDS mode with a GPIO signal and wake with a warm-boot option.
I ported the source code for this demo to the Modus ToolBox environment and am able to compile and load it to the B2 EVB, but the behavior is significantly different in that the application seems to wake itself from the Sleep state automatically after ~10 sec and always wakes in a cold-boot state, ... I assume that this reflect some underlying difference in the SDK behavior between the version in WICED Studio and V2.7.1 in ToolBox 2.1?
I have the App note: "CYW20706_and_CYW20719_Low-Power_Modes.pdf" and have looked at the sleep.h header file, but both of these provide little actual information about how to enable and verify Sleep functionality through the functions and parameters exposed in the API.Show Less
