Hi,
After successfully prototyping using the eval kit and EZ-serial firmware, we have manufactured our first set of PCBAs using CYBT-343026. Since we plan to manufacture on a mass scale, is there a way we can update the UART configuration for PUART using OTA, so that the MCU can communicate at a higher baud rate than the default?

Thanks,

Saes

Hello @SaEa_4705941

Sorry , you cant change the PUART baud rate setting  over OTA.

You may change it after the FW download via command described in section 3.1.2 Changing the Serial Communication Parameters of EZ-Serial user guide: https://www.cypress.com/file/452971/download

Regards,

Anjana

Hello @SaEa_4705941 ,

Are you using Ez-Serial firmware or application developed in MTB ? In both case, OTA is supported .

From your description, I think you are using EzSerial platform. In that case, please refer 'Device Firmware Update Examples ' in the user guide :

Hi @AnjanaM_61 ,

Thanks for the response. We are using ez-serial fw. I believe all the ez-serial fw images have 11500 as the baud rate.

How do I change the baud configuration fit an Ez serial fw before doing the ota? Is the source code available ?
