Hello,

It could be because you are not fetching the newly calculated password after enabling this feature. After setting wdgConfig.enableAutomaticPasswordChange to TRUE , the password changes automatically after each password check and follows a pseudorandom sequence based upon a 14-bit Fibonacci LFSR with characteristic polynomial x14+x13+x12+x2+1. So each time you have to calculate the new password based on this sequence.

Thanks for your Reply

I have implemented this Fibonacci LFSR , service is happening. later after 10 service microcontroller is resetting. Is this due to the password sequence repetition. the Fibonacci password sequence which i have implemented generates only five password sequences. later the same sequence repeats and  after that microcontroller gets a reset.
