Hello Developers,
I am trying to test CAN bus-off in TC277. For CAN bus-off to happen any of the error counters TEC or REC should reach to 256 value. For testing I am transmitting Random frames while shorting Tx and Rx. That should Increment TEC counter.
Problem is that TEC is incremented till 0x80 means 128 decimal. After that I found no change in it even though transmitting frames are still going. In this case I am unable to have CAN bus-off.
What might not possibly increment TEC counter after 128 is my question ?

Hello,
We are flashing our software using debugger Lauterbach or custom flashing tool. In both cases after flashing (sometimes) we got a trap 7 for NMI.
We have to execute a reset after that.
Do you have any idea why we get a Trap class 7?
Thanks! Show Less

Hello,
I am using TC27x Triboard. when i tried to Flash my Application in Flash0 i am getting a Sequence Error.
I am able to write 248 Bytes, but when i try to write second time i am getting a error. SQER bit of Register FLASH0_FSR is set(ERROR)
As i read from datasheet, it is due to Aurix supports only Page or multiple page write(32 Bytes) .
So if i want to write more or less than a page size what i should do? Show Less

Hi,
I am using Infineon Tricore TC27x processor in one of our system.
As a part of system requirements we would like to control both enable and disable of interrupts globally.
As per the datasheet we observe the following methods provided to control interrupts globally.
a. MTCR(Move To Core Register) instruction can be used to control the ICR.IE bit.
b. ENABLE and DISABLE instructions to enable and disable the interrupt system.
I would like to know if there are any other methods apart from the above mentioned? Show Less

Hi,
I have been trying to use CAN controller of TC275 and have gone through the driver code given by infineon. In the reference code I the CAN nodes are connected via loopback mode. When configuring it that way I can recieve data being sent from one node to the other. But when I turn off the loopback mode and connect CANalyzer with CAN0 pins I get no communication. Can anybody tell me what is it that I must be missing ? Show Less

Dear Infineon forum members,
I am quite new in the forum and I would like to clarify the following concept which is not absolutely clear to me.
According to TC29xT block diagram, :http://www.infineon.com/export/sites/default/media/products/Microcontrollers/32bit/TC29xT_Block_Diagram.JPG, this microcontroller has 3 triCores (1lockstep). Does this mean 9 cores then?
I am a bit confused about how many cores are available so that different applications can be executed at the same time.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Garazi Show Less
