Am new to learning smu for aurix TC3xx.

I have read that various software alarm resemble fault actions from various different modules.

eg. for DMA module:

1] alarm group 6, alarm 19 -> correctable error 

2]  alarm group 6, alarm 20 -> Uncorrectable Critical error 

3]  alarm group 6, alarm 21 -> Miscellaneous error 

4] alarm group 10, alarm 21 -> Safety flip-flop uncorrectable error 

Now my project is to write a function to listen if any of these errors are obtained. 
As a newbie I thought of getting help from forum and work on the task. Please tell me a correct way to write the function and any of the smu functionalities to use.
