Hi Support,

I'm using TC364 as uC, and I find that not all valid flag(VF) bits in register GxRESDy (x=0-11;y=0-15) of EVADC can be set 1 even if I can see the RESULT value updated as below. Is there any condition to set the valid flag? Thank you

Hi @chenpf321
It seems a bit weird, and I was wondering if you could introduce the testing platform, such as board, demo code, debug tool, etc.
Further, whether you can replicate the phenomenon on these ADC demo codes.

Jeremy

Hello @chenpf321 ,

Assuming normal conditions, the VF within the GxRESDy register will remain at 1 when no one approaches GxRESy with the new value updated in GxRESy.

If some code had read GxRESy, the corresponding VF would be changed to zero.

Did you happen to check if some code is not approaching GxRESy with a VF of 0?

thank you.

Hi DownyK,

The codes only read the VF of GxRESy, not the RESULT of GxRESy. So VF should not be cleared.

Using debugger can only see GxRESDy value, in the picture above, VF is also not set.

Hi @chenpf321
Whether you mean the VF bit of the corresponding GxRESDy will be cleared after the code reads the VF of GxRESy, is it right?
If yes, can you share the related codes?

Jeremy
