Hello together,
I am facing a little problem with the Tc2X5 AppKit, i have Debug Connection to the Board and also the Device Manager shows the DAS JDS COM and the DAS JDS DEBUG Connection. (looks similar to the TC3X Board)
But there is no VirtualCOMPort created for the TC2X5 Board. With the TC3X Board there is a Virtual COM Port witch is also working.
Are there any common issues with the TC2X5 Boards or is there a need for an additional Driver.
Thanks for your help

Hi,
This sometimes happens. What you need to do is to go to the advanced properties of the DAS JDS COM driver and then tick the "Load VCP" checkbox as seen here:

Then temporarily disconnect the board to force the driver being reloaded. There should now be a virtual com port. Special thanks to Neal for helping me with this in the past.

Hello Henk-Piet,
I am using app-kit tc397xa, when connecting the board to windows 10, there is only one COM port "infineon DAS JDS COM", there is no "DAS JDS DEBUG" or "virtual COM".
However, from the hightec's serial example, I am able to receive and send data through this "serial". Do you know how I can reload the drivers and operate more safely?
Thanks
