Hi Aadi,

For board sch,  you could please refer to https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-ShieldBuddy_TC275%20-UM-v02_08-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d46269e1c019...

or https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-AURIX_TC275_Lite_Kit-UserManual-v01_02-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d462...

For CAN connections, please refer to Chapter 2.6 in above document 1.

And Chapter 5.1 in above document 2.

CAN communications and FLASH over CAN feature both has same hardware settings.

As the flash over CAN may needs a software loaded into RAM, please contact 3rd party for consult such as PLS.

Thanks for consult.

Dear Iyer,

Thanks for using Aurix. For Flash tools, we have two categories, one is Free tool provided by Infineon, the other is 3rd party tools such as PLS. MemTool 2021.08 and DAS Tool Interface are free tools which can connect to Miniwiggler which is also a USB debugger tool.

For flash over CAN, you could consult for 3rd party tools such as PLS.

Otherwise, there is a feature called that DAP over CAN Physical Layer (DXCPL) which enables a tool connection throughthe regular CAN pins of the ECU connector. This tool connection is robust since it does not require a working flash or any software. DXCPL is in essence another option to transmit DAP telegrams.  AP32442 you can refer to it. However for flash programming, it may not be supported defaultly.

Hi,

The custom board that I am using has the option of flashing the HEX file via CAN Bus. Could you explain to me the hardware connection between PC and the above Infineon Chip, which pins to connect and also which tool I should use to flash the hex file to the MCU via CAN,

thanks for your reply,

have a great day,

Aadi
