Hi team,

I had downloaded TriBoard_TC39XB_V1.1.0 file which has CAN, ethernet and other peripherals to check. We want to make use of this as a test firmware.

When we are trying to compile it, we are getting the following error.

make all
Cannot run program "make": Launching failed

Error: Program "make" not found in PATH.

Can I have any guidance to compile this.

Regards,

Sakthivel.

Hi,

This Demo project is not supported in ADS. You need to use BIFACES with an external tasking toolchain to build this.

Best Regards.

Hi,

then please go to https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/microcontroller/32-bit-tricore-microcontroller/#!trainings . There you can find TC3XX related Quick and Expert trainings on almost every single function blocks provided by an AURIX MCU. Furthermore, if you follow the Expert Training you will also find a link to GitHub where a huge amount of examples are already done for you. The only thing you need to do is, setting up a new project with your controller of choice (TC39X) in ADS, and compile it. Afterwards, take code out of the examples into that environment and be sure of the port setup which might need to be adapted then. That should bring you to a working test firmware.

for CAN e.g.

https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-MCMCAN_1_KIT_TC397_TFT-Training-v01_02-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d462...

and

https://github.com/Infineon/AURIX_code_examples/tree/master/code_examples/MCMCAN_1_KIT_TC397_TFT

Don't forget to doublecheck port setup!

Best,
