TC397 EMMC transmission speed

Recently, We have tested the transfer speed of EMMC without DMA.

But we have tested the read and write speed,

Read speed is about 37MByte/s

Write speed is about 21MByte/s

However, the bandwidth of the reference manual is 400Mbits/s(about 50MByte/s)

Hi huskie,

The bandwidth is in ideal condition, actually it is limited by 2 factors:

1) The MCU system has cost of performance.

2) The eMMC itself has read/write speed limitation.

You could refer to below brochure.

And if you want to increase speed, please try DMA instead. But for write speed, it may not be increased too much according to above brochure.
