I have an ASCLIN0 on a TC297TX configured as UART. When an external loopback is connected, the TX stops as soon as RXFIFO contains 16 bytes.
The manual tc29xb_um_v1.3 says in chapter 18.20 at the end, that this is expected behaviour when CTS is set for D in IOCR.CTS.
However in IOCR, CTSEN is disabled (=0) and CTS is set to =0.
So it should not wait for the RXFIFO to be emptied I figured.
The errata sheet Infineon-TC29x_BC-step-ES-v01_02-EN does not have anything about this issue.
Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Thanks.
