I have an expected target reset that is triggered upon a Firmware flashing operation. I saw in SCU_RSTSTAT register that an SMU alarm is the "Application Reset" source, the counter of alarms has been incremented in SMU_AFCNT register but I did not succeed to find which alarm is being triggered (all pending bits in SMU_ADx are reset). What can I observe to determine the root cause please ?

Could you disable the SMU reaction to "no action" for all the alarms and check if the reset disappears? This will help confirm if SMU is the cause of the reset.
Then you can try to enable the alarms for only certain groups and check which group and which alarm leads to the reset.
Was the flashing successful? Does the issue disappear after a power on reset and the device works as expected?
