Hi,

I am using an AURIX TC277 TFT devkit, and trying to write to a serial port. According to the user manual, a COM port should be created when I connect the device to my PC, but that is not happening. The DAS JDS COM and DAS JDS Debug both show up under USB devices, but the COM port is not being created:

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Reinstall is not needed/helpful.

Connect the board

In the Device Manager:

Select Properties on Infineon DAS JDS COM with right mouse

Select Tab Advanced and mark 'Load VCP' as active

Save the settings

Remove the board from USB and reconnect

Now the COM port should be installed

Hi tannerhunsucket,

https://community.infineon.com/t5/AURIX-Development-Studio/AURIX-Development-Studio-1-7-2-DAS-issues...

Please check above link of my screenshot.

Please try to uninstall DAS and reinstall. The USB port should be configure to COM port with proper drivers.
