- This device is Medium Evita (since it doesn't have an asymmetric HW Crypto Engine), TC3xx supports full Evita
- SHE HIS is realized with software that runs on the HSM, TC234LP the "P" indicates it has an HSM
- AUTOSAR solutions are available for this device you need to contact your Infineon representative for further information.
- Safety documentation and Manual requires you to contact your Infineon representative.

Can I consider each device which has HSM to be SHE HIS as a general concept?

The HSM has the hardware features for the SHE, it depends on the software implementation to realize the functionality along with how you use the Data Flash for the Key management. You should discuss this with your Infineon representative as they also use third party security vendors for HSM.

A lot of those aren't Infineon parts 😉

Only the TC233 is recommended for long-term designs, and it supports EVITA Medium. The AURIX HSM is programmable and requires software from Escrypt, Vector, Elektrobit, or Green Hills Integrity to implement SHE functionality.

The TC17xx and XC8xx parts may be phased out after 2024.

XC8xx and XC2xx are not support any HW feature for security
In case of 8-bit and 16-bit MCUs, there is not HW feature for security.

From TC17xx, Infineon 32-bit MCU can support HW feature for security

TC1791/93/98 is HIS compliant.
TC23x/TC27x/TC29x are HIS compliant and Medium Evita
TC3xx is HIS compliant and Full Evita

Nowadays, in case of new projects, TC3xx is preferred because of Full Evita support.
