Hi Guys,

i have a problem with the OTP Flash on the TriCore TC1798F.

I can't access to "PFLASH" and "DFLASH" via MEMTOOL 4.07.03. "PFLASH0" is working.
I use the DAP Miniwiggler.

After connecting to my board i get "not ready" status for "PFLASH" and "DFLASH".
If i select the "enable" checbox the following text appears.




Message from component 'PFLASH' :
Initializing FLASH driver on target failed

Message from component 'PFLASH' :
Error message from FLASH driver, command 'Init':
FLASH/OTP module disabled
Please check initialisation commands

Message from component 'DFLASH' :
Initializing FLASH driver on target failed

Error message from FLASH driver, command 'Init':
FLASH/OTP module disabled
Please check initialisation commands


On a working board i can access to all three OTP FLASH.



Has anyone an idea or a solution?

I've seen that issue often with TC1797. I've never been able to tie down the cause - at some point it usually starts working after doing one or more of the following:
Power cycle the PC (not just a reboot)
Change to a different wiggler
Put the board aside & program another.

Maybe there ist a solution to enable the the flash or identify the problem.

Note: I tried to connect via BSL/ASC over seriell comport but there is no connection possible. The good one works with both connection (DAP Miniwiggler and seriell comport)

In Memtool->Target->Setup->Connect&Reset: Any command known for "Excure Initialisation Commands on Reset"

Has anyone another solution?
