Hello everyone, I want to start programming high-speed microcontrollers and the one that  I have available for beginning is the Infineon TC1782F on a starter kit. Unfortunately I cannot find a IDE that supports this microcontroller. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you for your time!

This is an older device and it is supported by HighTec https://free-entry-toolchain.hightec-rt.com/ . If you are just getting started with TriCore I would suggest to move to a more current family like the TC3xx. Then use ADS which has a lot more examples available. You would have to buy some new hardware but the TC375 or TC334 Lite kits are relatively inexpensive https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/evaluation-boards/kit_a2g_tc375_lite/ or https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/evaluation-boards/kit_a2g_tc334_lite/

Hi @mi6kata

Just as @cwunder mentioned, the TC1782F is old series, so I'd highly recommend you use the TC2 xx or TC3xx to get started.

Jeremy

Thanks for the recommendation. I will consider upgrading to one of the newer series.
