Hello,

I'm doing some work with the DFlash on TC264. I'd like to read the contents of that memory. Memtool has a read funciton which I've used before on 16-bit devices.

Memtool setup is at defaults. An attempt to read the DFlash ( or PFlash ) seems to fail. Just wondering what additionally requires setup to have this work.

There are some passwords etc etc. Has anyone been able to do this?

The device defaults do not have any restrictions on access.
Assuming you did not install any protection then you should be able to connect to the device and read the memory.
You can have a look at the Memtool diagnostic log and make sure the data flash is ready.

Thanks cwunder,

I have it working now. Just seeing that you were able to read from a relatively blank device was a great help. I had begun wading through the UCB info.

I was originally attempting to read a much larger area. Brought it down to 128 bytes. Now it reads all sizes and ranges. I can't stop it.... but I don't know what the problem was.

Thankyou,
