On below KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB product website, it said "Support for Automotive 20-pin JTAG an 10-pin DAP connectors". So we purchased 3 units, and would like to use them on TC399 custom boards which come with Automotive 20-pin JTAG connector only.

But KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB only comes with a 10-pin DAP and a 16-pin connectors. How to connect KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB to a Automotive 20-pin JTAG connector?

Hi masonyen,

please watch again into the transparent housing of your DAP miniWiggler.
There you can find an EXT, DAP and JTAG pin header.
Just connect your custom board JTAG connector to the DAP miniWiggler JTAG connector (proper pin matching assumed), and everything should work fine.

Hi Jens,

I did look KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB again. There is no 20-pins JTAG connector. Please see below picture.



AP56004 is DAP miniWiggler V3. Our company bought KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB. Infineon website claims "Support for Automotive 20-pin JTAG" in the summary of features.

Ok, it is triggered. Now we need to wait.
Please also check whether you can exchange the v2 devices with the current v3 one.

Honestly, I can not really understand why this old device is still offered. Another issue is the wrong documentation.

You bought the wrong miniWiggler. You should buy this: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/evaluation-boards/kit_miniwiggler_3_usb/
Ask the vendor if it is possible to change to the other version.
As written on the site for your version: On the device side, the communication goes over Infineon 10-pin DAP or 16-pin OCDSL1 interfaces.

Good news from Vendor. Vender would help us to change our KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB for KIT_MINIWIGGLER_3_USB.

Good news from Vendor. Vender would help us to change our KIT_DAP_MINIWIGGLER_USB for KIT_MINIWIGGLER_3_USB. So this is no need to borrow your miniWiggler. Many thanks.
