I first tried to install :

Infineon-Memtool-DevelopmentTools-v05_00-EN.exe on my windows 10 PC (this installer has been successfully installed else where). After installation, when I first run it, I got pop up "Can't create Memtool user interface !". 

Then I downloaded the latest: Infineon-Memtool-DevelopmentTools-v06_00-EN.exe which automatically install pre-requisites. Uninstall the previous version, then install the latest one. I got the same error once I tried to run it. 

Please see attached and kindly advise.

Hi,

1. Could you let us know the device you intend to use?
2. Could you follow the below steps and let us know the behavior?
a) Uninstall all the components of Memtool.
b) Delete the files from %temp%(Run command).
c) Restart the system.
d) Install the Memtool by following the guideline from "Release Notes"

e) Restart the system.
f) Check the behavior.

I am sorry the problem still exists after following the steps suggested.

Hi,

1. Could you let us know the device and kit you intend to use?

2. Can you check if you had admin rights during installation and when you opened the tool? If not, could you try installing and opening the tool in administrator mode?

3. In the tool, could you try using the "Target" menu from the menu bar to choose the desired target?
