Hi,
Does the UART (ASCLIN) support hardware flow (CTS/RTS) control pins?
Best regards,
Bernie

Hi Bernie,
Yes, some of the ASCLIN modules support optional CTS and RTS signals. Be sure to check the datasheet (or On-Chip Connections in the User's Manual) for the selected ASCLIN module that you are using that these pins are available on a port.
Best regards,
Mr. AURIX™

Hi Bernie,
In ASCLIN ASC mode (UART) ,we have standard ASC and High speed ASC mode for transmitting data at higher baud rates. For high speed ASC mode, we require Rx and Tx but also CTS and RTS signals i.e handshaking signals.
You can read further in chapter 18 (ASCLIN ) of user manual. And be careful while pin selection i.e. look out for shield buddy user manual.
Regards,
Neeraj
