Hi all,
I was wondering what does "Tricore " name in AURIX™ TC2xx/TC3xx means and do we have 3 cores inside all variant of AURIX™ ?

Hi Christine ,
"Tricore" is Infineon trademark for 32 bit MCU . It does not mean 3 cores .
Tricore Integrates three functions such as DSP,RISC and MCU .
AURIX™-TC2xx and AURIX™-TC3xx have more then one core dependent on the family device/variant.
I hope that was helpful
Kind regards
Bernie
