Difference between TRICORE 2.0 and TRICORE 1.6

In the compiler writer guide, I can read the difference between TRICORE 1.3 and TRICORE 2.0.

This document is quite old (2003) and it does not mention TRICORE 1.6 at all.

Are 2.0 and 1.6 the same architecture ?

That document is replaced by the EABI spec. TriCore 1.6 was something like 2010, so it's no wonder that it's not in a 2003 document.

The TC2xx is based on TriCore 1.6.1. TC3xx is TriCore 1.6.2.
