Hello everyone,

in our project we are using the Resolverinterface from the EDSADC module.

We have the sine signal connected to AN2 which is ESD0PA and cosine connected to AN37 which is EDS1NA. Both signals are referenced to ground.

So for the sine I went with:

edsadcChannelConfig.modulator.negativeInput = IfxEdsadc_InputConfig_referenceGround;
edsadcChannelConfig.modulator.positiveInput = IfxEdsadc_InputConfig_inputPin;

and on the cosine I swapped those signals:

 edsadcChannelConfig.modulator.negativeInput = IfxEdsadc_InputConfig_inputPin;
edsadcChannelConfig.modulator.positiveInput = IfxEdsadc_InputConfig_referenceGround;

Both measurements are performing well. But I was wondering if I am able to change the sign so my negative signal. I found the info about the bit DSRCEX in the DICFGx Register. I am able to change the value of this bit:

edsadcChannelConfig.demodulator.inputDataSource = IfxEdsadc_InputDataSource_invertedInputA;

The issue right now is that I do not see  any change in my results. Of course this is hard to see in the Results of only one conversion (RESMx) as I have 10kHz sine waves connected but I was expecting for my integrals to change their signs (IVALx).  What do I do wrong, or did I misunderstand the usage of this bit?

Dear User,

In AURIXTC3XX_um_part2_v2.0.pdf, please refer to 33.4.2 Input Data Selection
The data stream of an external modulator can be input from a selectable pin. This signal can optionally be
inverted.

So DSRCEX is only for data stream of external source.
