Dear Support team,
In the Aurix TC299 controller datasheet, under table 2-74 'TC29x Bare Die Pad List' for the pad VFLEX comment is given that, "Digital Power Supply for VFLEX Ports / Pads (5V / 3.3V)" and for VFLEXE pad it is mentioned that, "Must be bonded to VEXT or VDDP3". Does it mean that, always in the circuit we should follow VEXT = VFLEXE or VDDP3 = VFLEXE?
My concern is,
1. if we have VEXT = VDDP3 = 3.3V, then can we have VFLEX = 5V sothat we can interface Port 11 and Port 12 (5V pads) with 5V logic ICs?
2. if we have VEXT = 3.3V, VDDP3 = 5V then can we have VFLEXE = 5V sothat we can interface Port 30 and Port 31 (5V pads) with 5V logic ICs?
Thanking you in advance.

Hello,
Thank you for the reply, as per table 7-18 from the user manual for HWCFG[0:2] = X00b, supply pin voltage level/sources are mentioned to be VFLEX = 5V or 3.3V, what about VFLEXE should it be same as VFLEX or we can have it 5V or 3.3V irrespective of VFLEX?
