Hello there,

we identified few difference between the original part "SAK-TC397XX-256F300S BD" and the alternate part "SAK-TC377TX-96F300S AB" could you please confirm that these are the only differences needs to take care at design level or is there any other differences are there ? (Note : differences are Highlighted)

2. To verify if any required peripheral pins are muxed with each other, we need Pin mux table: please share the pin mux table for the MCU "SAK-TC377TX-96F300S AB" or if there are any tools available to verify the same.

3. Could you please confirm the development board "KIT_A2G_TC377_5V_TRB_S" can be used with "SAK-TC377TX-96F300S AB" MCU? if not please suggest any development board.

Thanks,

Sakthivel

Hello,

1 . You could refer to the respective Datasheet addendum to understand all the differences.

for SAK-TC397XX-256F300S BD :
https://myicp.infineon.com/sites/microcontrollers-aurix_customer_doc/Lists/defaultdoclib/AURIX%20TC3...

for SAK-TC377TX-96F300S AB:
https://myicp.infineon.com/sites/microcontrollers-aurix_customer_doc/Lists/defaultdoclib/AURIX%20TC3...

2.  Please refer to the Data sheet.

3. Please refer to the sections "3.2.1 Usable devices" and "3.2.2 Restricted usable devices" in the below documents.

Hi,

Still, Infineon didn't upgrade my account to promoted user level, so I don't have authentication to use these documents. Could you please check from your side and support us asap? Since we are in the design phase, we need all that information.

2. Could you please let us know by default what MCU will be mounted on the development board "KIT_A2G_TC377_5V_TFT" ?

Hello,

Thanks for your support,

1. Could you please confirm, for refering  the pinouts of "SAK-TC377TX-96F300S AB" MCU part from the data sheet, we need to verify from this section right?

For TX series -> LFBGA-292 Package Pinning of TC37xEXT TX

Sakthivel_0-1684397537582.png

2. In the data sheet, we can find multiple Can protocol transmitter pins, like for the 0th CAN, we have "CAN00_TXD" in multiple pins, and for the 0th Can receiver, we find different pin names like "CAN00_RXDA, CAN00_RXDB, CAN00_RXDF," so could you confirm if we need to use CAN00? We can take any set of CAN00_TXD and either of the receiver pins from (CAN00_RXDA, CAN00_RXDB,...).

Thanks,
Sakthivel

1. Yes, for this device you must use the pinning of TC37xEXT TX which is sligthly different to the TP pinning.

2. Yes, you can use any CAN00_TXD and any of the available receiver pins (CAN00_RXDA or CAN00_RXDB ...).
