Hi all,
i try the AURIX™ Development Studio and saw that it comes with the tasking c++ compiler (cctc). But in the IDE i can´t compile C++ code. Only the TASKING C Compiler is displayed In Properties->C/C++ Build->Settings->Tool Settings.
Is there a way to compile C++ Files or do i need an other IDE?
Thank you

Hi!
I'm using a TC38x MCU and I have been searching for a solution to flash and debug an already existing .hex file in Aurix Development Studio.
The MCU is connected to the PC via a MiniWiggler V3 DAP and I would like to load an external .hex file onto the MCU. I understand that I should create a debug/flash configuration in order to execute the flashing, but i did not find any way to import/add and external .hex file to the project.
Shall I modify the existing path where the IDE searches for the generated hex file after building? Because it's an external hex file it would be great if i did not need to build the whole project every time i would like to flash the binary file.
I appreciate every kind of related knowledge who has already done similar task.
Thank you for your response in advance. Show Less

After that, I change project location and import the project into aurix developoment studio again.
I can clean up and re build all the project without error.

Hello All,
I am new to Aurix Development. I found on development studio web page a below note:
Notice : “The bundled TASKING tools such as the compiler and Debugger can only be used for non-commercial purposes”
Does this mean:
1. The Studio has Tasking compiler?
2. If yes, the code written using Aurix Development Studio and getting compiled, would automatically compile on Tasking development environment?
3. What is the intended "non-commercial" use expected? Where can I find more details on what classify as commercial/non-commercial?
If point-2 is true and if I develop commercial code using Aurix Studio and later compile on Tasking IDE(purchased for a short duration) would it be violating this clause?
Best regards

Hello,
I'm currently porting ERIKA V3 into AURIX Development Studio(ADS) for Tricore TC397 evaluation board, but the board cannot start up .
First, I generated the OS source code in ERIKA IDE and copy it into a new project in ADS.
Then I get the following ERROR messages about multiple definitions when building.
So I delete the _START function in Ifx_Ssw_Tc0.c and BMHD constants in /Configurations/Ifx_Cfg_SswBmhd.c.
I added LED toggle function into main function, and It builds successfully but the OS seems not able to start up (LED status does not change)after I upload it into the chip.
My question is ,
1. Is there anything else I'm missing ?
2. There's only one main() function in ERIKA OS,but there's six seperate main fucntions for every core in TC397 in a ADS project. How to understand the differences and connections between these two?
How does it affect the code?
3. Is there any reference document or code about ERIKA porting to ADS in TC397? Show Less

or, I can try this......the error comes up in the middle line of this union.

not that it makes any sense to me, but I simply commented the offending lines with a "replace in the selection" in both the scu and port files and then it started working.
Still, any ideas why would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie
