AIROC™ Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Bluetooth Combos Forum Discussions
I've been trying to incorporate WiFi Direct/p2p functionality into my project using ModusToolbox, but I'm encountering some difficulties. I've followed the documentation and guides, but it seems I'm missing a step or something isn't configured correctly. Through Mcdvoice homepage, customer or participant can give his honest opinion (positive or negative feedback) to improve product quality, service, store quality & norms. https://mcdvoice.support/ Has anyone successfully implemented WiFi Direct/p2p in ModusToolbox? If so, could you share some insights or steps that helped you get it up and running?

Hi IFX,
We use AW-CM390SM(CYW43455), and we find some info about WPA3 & 802.11r conflict, please help to check if CYW43455 has this conflict.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Peggy
Hi IFX team
we are using jetson nano and CYW54591 Wi-Fi BT chipset with module name LBEE5XV1XA-540 we need to do regulatory certification test commands for Bluetooth
Our requirements
1 . is there any specific tool like WL to do RF for Bluetooth in jetson platform?
2. if yes please share the procedure and required tools/binaries to do validation
Please comment on the above queries as this critical for us
What hardware features are required to support Apple's Carplay?
Comments at Infineon's webpage, AIROC™ Automotive Wireless @ https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/wireless-connectivity/airoc-automotive-wireless/ imply RSDB is required to support Carplay,
- ‘Infineon’s pioneering Real Simultaneous Dual Band (RSDB) solutions provide simultaneous operation in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands as well as Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) support. RSDB solutions provide the necessary bandwidth and the software architecture required to support complex use-case scenarios for cars, enabling combinations of AP, station, and P2P connections simultaneously. This allows automakers to support several simultaneous application scenarios: driver and passenger devices streaming high-bandwidth data and media content, mirroring phone/tablet displays (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mirrorlink), and…”
CYW5557x radios have VSDB, a virtual form of RSDB (1)
Is VSDB sufficient to support Carplay?
Are there any examples?
Greg

Show LessHi
we are using jetson nano and CYW54591 Wi-Fi BT chipset with module name LBEE5XV1XA-540 we have the WL tool binary with us, we need to test the below options
1. We need to select the module, in our case it is 1XA whose description is 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
2. Test modes - Continuous Transmit |
Carrier Wave |
Receive |
3. Select Antenna Configuration - SISO | MIMO
4. Select Antenna - Main antenna | Auxiliary antenna
5. Select band - 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
6. Select bandwidth - 20 MHz | 40 MHz | 80 MHz
Select Channel Number -
1- LOW - Channel 1 | 2 - MID - Channel 6 | 3 - HIGH - Channel 11
5. Select Data rate
6. Select Transmit Parameter Setting Option
Can you please share the commands to do the above tests using WL tool or do we have any other tool to achieve this jetson nano also please share the technical doc to use WL tool for this CYW54591 module
Please comment as it is very critical for us to move forward the RF testing
Show LessHi Team,
Currently, we would like to implement the PMKID cache functionality for WPA enterprise.
We found the following source code that uses the "IOVAR_STR_PMKID_INFO" command.
We use this to check the PMKID cache, so when we call the command it returns with success.
But, we cannot see the PMKID list in the AssociationRequest when reconnecting to the AP.
We use Murata Wi-Fi module Type2AE (CYW4373E) with reference to the following source code.
Infineon AIROC-Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-STM32 Expansion Pack 1.5.1

I'm exploring the possibility of connecting a CYW4373-equipped Type 2BC to the USB HOST port of an STM32MP135 due to the SDIO being occupied by other tasks. I've referred to the document for guidance. Unfortunately, it appears that the Murata uSD-M.2-Adapter doesn’t support USB HOST functionality, necessitating an alternate approach.
Could anyone kindly provide advice on installing relevant drivers, SDK, and necessary software tools? Your insights and guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
