Hello.

I've programmed CYW954907AEVAL1F as AP to work on 120,124,128 - 5GHz Channels (Country Code IT).

I notice that it doesn't work:

with my Wi-Fi analyzer I show no AP.

Instead, if I program CYW954907AEVAL1F as AP to work on 36 - 5GHz Channel (Country Code IT) some Tablets doesn't connect because of "... it wasn't possibile to obtain IP addess ..."

Hi,

Apologies for the delay. Is this issue resolved now? Would you like more help with it?

" it wasn't possible to obtain IP address ..."

Please make sure you are running a DHCP server like dnsmasq to assign the IP addresses.

Thanks

Hi,

Can you download the test.console app by making CONSOLE_ENABLE_WL :=1 in the console.mk file
then do a wl country IT followed by wl chan_info and check if it has those channels are enabled?

Do you see channels as passive/restricted?

Thanks,

I write  CONSOLE_ENABLE_WL :=1 in the console.mk file

I download test.console

If I write "wl country IT" I obtain "ERROR: Unknown Command"

so I write "country IT" and processor answer "Country is (IT)".

If I write "wl chan_info" I obtain "ERROR: Unknown Command"

so I write "channel 120" and "wlog_stream on" ... the processor answer

"CONSOLE: hndarm_armr addr: 0x18011000, cr4_idx: 0

If I write "channel 36" and then "wlog_stream off" and then "wlog_stream on" ... the processor answer
